Hey guys! In today’s video I’m talking about how yoga has changed my life!!! Yoga has allowed me to find peace within my body and lower my stress levels like no other! When you practice yoga you focus on the here and now. Yoga has only brought positive changes within my life, if you are thinking about giving yoga a try GO FOR IT!

In this video, How yoga changed my life! I’m opening up about my personal yoga journey – the highs, the lows, and everything in between.

Join me as I share why I chose yoga over the gym, and how a studio just two minutes from my house became my sanctuary for growth and healing. I dive into my initial hesitations, fears about not being ‘good enough’ for yoga, and how I overcame these to embrace the practice fully.

Yoga, in its original form, was created as a science for liberation. In modern times, it is used by many for improving physical and mental health, helping us become more productive at work, more caring in relationships, and more responsible contributors to society and inhabitants of this planet. If yoga does accomplish all that—and many practitioners have experienced this to be true in their own lives—how exactly does yoga do it? How does yoga work?

On today’s Broken Brain Podcast, our host, Dhru, talks to Eddie Stern, a yoga teacher, author, and lecturer based in Brooklyn, New York. He is known for his multidisciplinary approach to furthering education and access to yoga, as well as his teaching expertise in Ashtanga Yoga. He most recently created The Breathing App, which guides the user in a paced breathing exercise that balances the nervous system, improves sleep, and reduces stress and anxiety. His book, One Simple Thing: A New Look at the Science of Yoga and How It Can Transform Your Life was just released.

We begin with a gentle flow of child’s pose to cobra with a side body and lower back stretch, locust pose to open the shoulders and a seated toe stretch. The sequence continues with downward dog, rag-doll, seated neck stretches, head to knee pose, seated wide legged forward fold, reclined twist and savasana.

Sorry it took so long!!!

Back in January when we released gen 1 of the @popflexactive flared legging (or yoga pants for us millennials and beyond 🥲) I didn’t expect them to sell out so fast! But instead of just remaking the same flares for you guys which would have taken about 3 months, I made the decision to redevelop this style again…which took nearly 9 months to arrive at gen 2.

Why?

When it comes to serving you guys, there’s things that can bring you immediate gratification, but then there’s things that are temporarily frustrating but 100% worth waiting for.

Look, I don’t believe in a life of not improving. Either for myself or my products. So here’s why you had to wait:

GEN 2 FLARED LEGGINGS

1. Added the crisscross waistband from our most viral legging to enhance your hourglass shape ✔️

2. Added POCKETSSSSSS but also made them super sleek and nearly invisible ✔️

3. Upgraded the fabric to ButterSmooth for a stretchier feel that is less prone to shrinkage! It fits like a hug and you can run in them without them falling down. They’re performance level flares.
